SHRI Atmanand Jain Senior Secondary School, Ambala City is perhaps one of the oldest schools in the region.
The school was established more than 100 years back in 1901. Since then, the school has been moving from strength to strength in terms of academic excellence and other co-curricular activities.
SA Jain Senior Secondary School has carved a niche for itself for achieving exceptional results in Board examinations year after year. It is an important school of Ambala City.
The school was started as a primary school in 1901 in old Anaj Mandi area of Ambala City. Thereafter, it was upgraded to a High School in 1926. Two years thereafter in 1928, the school became a Grant-in-aid school. In 1990, the school became a senior secondary school. The school has celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 1976 and the Diamond Jubilee in 1986.
The school management comprises capable persons who take keen interest in the functioning of the school. Under the guidance of the 15 member management committee, the school has kept up its tradition of having good results every year.
